Volunteer Management Executive
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement the overall Volunteer Management (VM) strategy
2. Implement effective volunteer management system including recruitment, training, deployment, reward, retention and recognition.
3. Develop relevant training content to equip volunteers to perform their roles
4. Coordinate volunteer activities
5. Conduct continuous evaluation and improvement of programs and services delivered by volunteers
6. Evaluate volunteers’ performance and recommend improvements if necessary
7. Manage and maintain an up-to-date volunteer database as well as other administrative documentations.
8. Work with key staff involved in programmatic volunteer management to ensure volunteers and staff are well supported
Requirements
1. Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or Community Development
2. 2 to 3 years of related work experience in a non-profit or charitable organization, with hands-on experience in coordination of volunteer programs, programme development, and management of volunteer resources
3. Strong communication skills – both in written and verbal
4. Strong analytical, leadership and planning skills
5. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with a diverse group of people
6. Excellent organizational, time management skills, and ability to cope with limited resources, seize opportunities and think creatively
7. Good work ethics, a flexible and non-judgmental approach to people
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and also take initiative when the need arises
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
