As an 3D Interactive Generalist/Artist, you should be able to:
- Develop and optimise 3D animation sequences for characters and specialised animation to meet the productions requirements
- Develop and optimise complex 3D models to meet the production requirements
- Execute complex compositing of frames to develop high quality coherent visuals with the desired effects to achieve the artist vision and technical requirements of production
- Design customised tools for asset creation and asset pipelines to support game development
- Translate technical goals into broad technical areas and/or aspects and/or modules that would need to be focused on
- Design level-specific game environment and gameplay elements to support the game narrative and enable audience interaction
- Lead comprehensive research and analyse research findings to generate insights and recommendations
- Develop complex skeletal rigs and muscle systems for character models to depict realistic or stylised motions through animation
- Develop textures and surface detailing for 3D characters and object models to achieve the desired visual appearance
- Arranging and dressing an environment to look appealing for artistic use, including lighting and VFX placement
- Import and export of assets between relevant programs for use in other software and game engines
The candidate we are looking for should have:
- A Diploma or Degree in relevant field (we may consider fresh graduates for a trainee role).
- Have experience working on Unreal Engine.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Maya, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite, Substance Painter and Unity.
- Demonstrate the tenacity to problem-solve and actively seek solutions.
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and solutions.
