  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Graphic Designer and Marketing Role (Part-Time / Freelance)

Role Overview: Elim Community Services (ECS) is looking for a creative and proactive Graphic Designer with a flair for visual storytelling and basic marketing knowledge. This flexible role is ideal for freelancers or part-timers who want to use their design and content skills to support meaningful community work involving seniors, youth, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Graphic Design:

  • Create engaging visuals for ECS events, programmes, and initiatives, such as:

    • Posters, banners, flyers, and brochures

    • Social media graphics and animations

    • Event merchandise (e.g. T-shirts, tote bags, badges)

    • EDMs, newsletters, and donor reports

  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials

  • Edit photos and assist with visual content for campaigns

Marketing Support:

  • Assist in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

  • Suggest creative angles or visuals to support outreach and engagement

  • Help monitor social media performance and adjust designs based on engagement insights

  • Support the development of simple video reels or story-style content for platforms

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or tools like Canva

  • Strong portfolio showing versatility and attention to detail

  • Basic understanding of marketing and social media engagement

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Interest in community work or the non-profit/social sector is a plus

  • Video editing skills (e.g. Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
