JOB SUMMARY:

  • 5-day work week, some positions may require weekend and night work

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the project management of the construction transit project for new MRT Lines and/or enhancement to existing lines.
  • Responsible for the safety, quality, progress and environment impact of the contractors' works.
  • Ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the required specifications for the successful completion of the project.
  • Ensure to handover the successful completion of the project to the appointed Railway Operator.
  • Will liaise with various parties, such as other project teams, system-wide and civil contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and appointed Railway Operator to ensure that the projects are well coordinated.
  • Review and address their feedback appropriately.
  • Review technical submissions and participate in the constructions, installation, testing and commissioning activities of the project.
  • Primally assigned to work on one of the following core areas of specialty in Rail Systems (Signalling/ Communications System/ System Integration and Co-ordination / Integrated Supervisory and Control System) or E&M Services (Rail Services/ Depot Services/ Power supply).

REQUIREMENT:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in railway project (have railway project experience advantage added)
  • Relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure projects with relevant experience in safety, quality, contract, and programme management would be an advantage.
  • Able to perform night works including weekends
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Computer literate
  • Detailed oriented, responsible, independent, fast learner, good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude.

WORKING HOURS:

  • MON - THUR ( 8.30AM - 6PM)
  • FRIDAY (8.30AM - 5.30PM)
  • WEEKEND = 11PM - 6AM
