Job SummaryMaster Scheduler is responsible for managing procurement of materials and products necessary for the company's operations. This role involves planning to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience in inventory management and supplier negotiation. Develop and execute purchasing strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery of materials.Responsibilities * Ensure that all procedures relating to PO approvals/LOA/ documentation/archiving are followed.
  • Expedite deliveries to meet and exceed scheduled critical requirements.
  • Resolve invoicing discrepancies with suppliers and accounting.
  • Analyze material and capacity availability to meet customer deliveries
  • Maintain item master lead time information based upon process improvements, current constraints, and total current demand by product family, and priority information.
  • Review open requirements, monitor vendor performance and expedite where necessary. Ensure that problems relating to delivery, quality or pricing are promptly conveyed to the supplier and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Lead SIOP meetings and to meet company goals in terms of Inventory value, Turns and On-Time shipment.
  • Other job assigned by supervisor or management.
Basic QualificationsDegree or Diploma with at least 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environmentCandidate with 1+ year of purchasing experience in manufacturing environment is preferredStrong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and continuous improvement mindsetTravel & Work Arrangements/RequirementsOffice-basedKey Competencies
  • 1+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing
  • Self- directed, flexible with a positive attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick thinking and fast execution with good problem-solving skills
