Job Summary
This position is responsible for parts, solution and service business support for APDLC and ensures the supplier strategy meet the company’s policy and development.
Responsibilities
1. Conducts sourcing activities to support parts, solution and service business;
2. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop target costing and achieves the targets through utilization of the cost analysis tools, vender negotiations and i2v efforts, etc.
3. Conducts supplier researches & analysis when required, evaluates & identifies potential new vendors to meet the business needs. Optimizes the supply base that provides competitive advantages in terms of cost, quality, delivery and technology.
4. Drives supplier performances, strategic alignment and sustainability through effective supplier communications & relationship maintenance as well as the continuous supplier improvement initiatives.
5. Works with BU and the vendors to identify potential cost saving opportunities by improving the specifications and conducting the tear down sessions and develops cost reduction proposals based on these activities on the ongoing basis.
6. Regularly evaluate supplier’s performance of delivery, quality and service expectation are met the contract requirement.
7. Prepares the sourcing reports to the management and the cross-functional teams on the regular basis to drive process improvements and better sourcing management and internal communication.
8. Represents Procurement in cross-functional communications to align on the sourcing plans/initiatives and solicit necessary supports in achieving operational excellence through internal cooperation and collaborations.
9. Focus on company’s productivity objectives and establish good relationship with key suppliers to drive cost saving.
10. Performs other duties as necessary in support business objectives.
11. Complies with the company's code of conduct and business process to make sure the businesses to go on smoothly.
Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering /supply chain/Business is better.
2. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
3. More than 5 years’ experience in sourcing management,including more than 3 years project sourcing experience.
4. Good people management skill.
5. Effective leadership, team work, communications and influencing skills.
6. Good written, oral communication skills in English & Mandarin.
7. Able to work under pressure and on multiple tasks at the same time with good time management skills.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Office-based with occasional business trip
