1. Manage and guide Sales Executives to ensure alignment with the hotel's marketing and sales goals.

9. Assist in the implementation of efficient sales systems and procedures for group meetings and functions.

10. Disseminate sales-related information across relevant hotel departments.

11. Meet with clients before and after functions to ensure effective communication and feedback regarding their needs.

12. Attend major promotional events to enhance the hotel’s visibility and drive sales.

13. Maintain a high level of hotel exposure in key market areas through direct sales solicitation, calls, faxes, and written communications.

14. Contribute to the development of the Annual Revenue Plan and assist in producing and monitoring action plans to meet revenue objectives.

15. Create and implement programs to boost productivity by increasing average rate, occupancy, business volume, and local food and beverage sales.

16. Manage key accounts and oversee the selling and servicing of group business.

17. Oversee the creation and development of promotional materials.

18. Provide direction and conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends.

19. Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.

20. Maintain close communication with Regional/Corporate Sales teams and other Marriott hotels for corporate consideration, support, and direction.

21. Plan and execute sales trips to key market areas to promote the hotel.

22. Attend major travel functions to further the hotel’s sales and visibility.

23. Work with Human Resources to ensure staff performance is productive and aligned with goals. This includes conducting training needs assessments, implementing training programs, and performing regular performance appraisals.

24. Approve leave requests, maintain staff records, and provide coaching, counselling, and discipline to enhance staff performance.

25. Maintain regular communication with staff to foster positive working relationships.

26. Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the hotel or hospitality industry.

· Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff.

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with clients, colleagues, and senior management.

· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

· Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and local associations.

· Highly motivated, proactive, and results oriented.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
