Our esteemed client, is searching for an Accountant:
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and review financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Develop and monitor financial plans and budgets.
- Perform financial consolidation for group-level reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual financial audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess the financial impact of operational decisions.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business growth and improve profitability.
- Analyze financial performance to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns, including corporate income tax and GST.
- Ensure full compliance with prevailing tax laws and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with financial reporting standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Design and implement internal financial controls and standard operating procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic business plans.
- Conduct financial analysis for business proposals and investment opportunities.
- Provide support on finance-related matters for other business segments or departments as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience in group account consolidation, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting is essential.
- Proficient in commonly used accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Business Central, Xero, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Sound understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Basic Up to SGD 5,000 + AWS + VB (2 Months)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday, 8.30AM to 5.30PM
- Working Location: Newton
