About the role
1) Group Consolidation & Reporting
• Assist in Group consolidation for a Business Line
• Prepare Group Monthly Management Reporting and ensure timely and accurate reporting to Business Line
2) Finance Partner to Corporate Support Function Units
• Provide pro-active support to the Corporate Support Function Units. This would include review and analysis of actual financial performance vs budget variance and trend analysis of financials with insightful commentaries on a monthly basis.
• Preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecast for the Corporate Support Function Units
3) Statutory Compliance
• Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entities assigned
• Ensure timely closing of accounts and accurate reporting on a monthly basis.
• Handle statutory audit, which includes preparation of financial statements as well as liaise with external auditors.
• Handle tax matters which would include the quarterly GST filing as well as corporate tax
• Identify weak internal controls and propose mitigating measures to strengthen these areas
• Liaise with internal auditors
4) Ad-hoc duties assigned
• This may include review of policies and continual process re-engineering.
Pre-requisites:
Accountancy degree or its equivalent
At least 5 years relevant working experience
Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and SAP bpc is an advantage
Proficient in MS Office applications
