Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage client portfolio in the area of tax compliance and provide tax advisory services.
- Review, provide recommendations on agreements and/or documents of clients for compliance and risk mitigation purposes.
- Review, provide recommendations, solutions on clients’ portfolio and to understand what they have on hand and how this portfolio is to translate into a target revenue.
- Assist with the preparation of responses to queries from Tax authorities’ queries.
- Proficient in MAS reporting requirement.
- Work collaboratively with business areas as well as other corporate functions, such as provide tax technical support and advisory.
- Manage the management fee agreements, supporting documentations and computations.
- Prepared and/or reviewed income tax, GST. ECI experience preferred.
Requirements
- Degree or professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA preferred
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience with IRAS or an international public accounting firm
- Being an Accredited Tax Professional with SCTP will be an advantage
- Familiar with MAS requirements.
- Must be familiar with Singapore Tax regimes and guidelines.
- Experience with Single Family office or private wealth tax compliance and annual declaration to MAS is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of tax advising or international tax is an added advantage
