Join Our Team as a Delivery Driver (Cake Shop)
Position: Delivery Driver (Van, Toyota Hiace)
Work Location: East Side
Salary: Up to $3000 (depending on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of delivery drivers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assign delivery routes to drivers and ensure they are followed accurately.
- Monitor driver performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner and meet customer expectations.
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize delivery processes.
- Plan and organize driver schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of delivery operations.
Requirements:
- Possess a valid driving license
- Capable of carrying heavy loads (approximately 25kg)
- Familiar with Android or IOS phone functions (Detrack)
Work Schedule:
- 5.5 days work week from 9 am to 6 pm
- Off on Sundays and Public Holidays
Benefit:
- Overtime pay at 1.5 times the regular rate
- Public Holiday Overtime pay at 2 times the regular rate
- 14 days of annual and medical leave
- Comfortable driving a manual van and able to drive it home
- Season parking, cash card, and diesel provided
