Job Summary
The Executive/Higher Executive - Analytics ( Strategy & Transformation) is someone hungry for growth. Someone who with the gumption to create a better future with all things data. From gathering the data to doing up visualisations that aim to provide value to the business.
He/she extracts and integrates data from various sources, and creates advanced models and algorithms suitable for the business use case. He develops compelling and logically structured communication materials to facilitate stakeholder buy-in.
He/she works in a team setting and is proficient in statistics, scripting and programming languages required by the organisation. He is also familiar with the relevant software platforms on which the solution is deployed on.
He/she has strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and solve problems. He/she is passionate about analysing and resolving complex business problems, displaying intellectual curiosity towards using data and AI to address business needs and challenges. He/she is a data storyteller, and is able to influence key stakeholders and spearhead a data driven approach to resolve business issues.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
Operations and Data Analytics
Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business problems
Conduct extraction and integration of data including features from different data sources
Account for data ethics and policies in model selection and evaluation process
Manage the day-to-day operations of the supply chain control tower
Build and assess models
Develop multiple models and algorithms suitable for the use case
Evaluate autonomous monitoring solutions to scale human oversight
Present data driven business value of data science/AI models
Create reports and deliverables based on insights derived from the model results
Develop compelling, logically structured presentations including story-telling of research and/or analytics findings to secure stakeholder commitment
Contribute to the creation of leading-edge resources, including playbooks, guides, blog posts, videos, etc.
Others
Undertake any assigned projects / duties directed by Management (If any)
Job Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL.
- Proficiency in machine learning techniques such as supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- 1-2 years of experience in analytics, data science, or AI.
