- Execute and manage paper trades in petrochemical derivatives across various exchanges and OTC platforms.
- Develop and implement trading strategies to capitalize on market movements and arbitrage opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, price movements, supply/demand fundamentals, and geopolitical events impacting the petrochemical markets.
- Collaborate with physical trading teams to manage risk exposure and support hedging activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, exchanges, and counterparties.
- Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and market outlooks.
- Ensure compliance with internal trading policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development of trading systems, analytics tools, and dashboards for better decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in petrochemical, energy, or commodity derivatives trading.
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments and trading platforms (e.g., ICE, CME, Eikon, Bloomberg).
- Understanding of global petrochemical supply chains and product flows.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and risk assessment skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
