Context :

Exail Motion Systems Division develops innovative mechatronic products in two market areas; Pan and Tilt – stabilized platforms that are mounted on a moving vehicle and Motion Simulators - that are installed in a laboratory and primarily used for calibration of gyroscopes and inertial systems..

To strengthen our team in the Asia Pacific region, we have a requirement for a Technical Support Representative to be based in our Singapore office.


The selected candidate must be a good communicator and customer oriented. Technical qualification in Mechatronics with proven experience in a field support role, especially in the area of servo systems, electric drives and digital servo controls. Your role will involve close collaboration with other team members and interaction with project managers, designers, electronics engineers, fitters, and metrologists.

The specialist nature of the products will require extensive training. To ensure a high level of autonomy, the selected candidate will therefore undergo a total of six months of training in our headquarters in France (ideally structured as 3x2 months or 2x3 months).


Missions :

As part of the Technical & Sales Support/Maintenance team, you will:

  • Commissioning of equipment on customer site; installation, performance verification, and customer training.
  • Perform on-site preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and malfunctions using system diagrams, controller software features behaviors, and records.
  • Prepare quotations for customers, with support from the department manager.
  • Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal technical teams, relaying modifications or improvement suggestions.
  • Support the Asia Pacific sales team by providing technical insights to address customer requirements effectively.


The position also requires travel to customers across Asia and internationally.


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Measurement, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
  • Demonstrated expertise and enthusiasm for technical subjects.
  • Fluent in English language. French language skills would also be advantageous.

  • Strong customer relation skills, with the ability to handle unforeseen challenges and complex situations.
  • Rigorous, methodical, and eager to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit, with the ability to work independently on customer sites.
  • Eligible for national military clearances and visas for customer countries.
