We are looking for a Director to develop and drive the implementation of policies and strategies for Digital Literacy and Wellness, in partnership with private, people and public sectors. The role will involve overseeing the national programmes on computational thinking in primary and secondary schools, as well as Digital Skills for Life as the competency framework as we uplift the digital proficiencies for everyone in Singapore.

We are looking for a Director to develop and drive the implementation of policies and strategies for Digital Literacy and Wellness, in partnership with private, people and public sectors. The role will involve overseeing the national programmes on computational thinking in primary and secondary schools, as well as Digital Skills for Life as the competency framework as we uplift the digital proficiencies for everyone in Singapore.
What you will be working on:
- Lead, develop and oversee the execution of strategies and programmes with relevant agencies (including MOE), to promote computational thinking through coding, digital making and exposure to emerging technology (such as AI) among students to build future readiness.
- Lead, conceptualise and drive the Digital Skills for Life framework to develop digital competencies for all Singaporeans, including overseeing the creation of content and learning resources, either on our own or together with our partners.
- Develop and implement strategies and resources to equip parents and youths with necessary skills to navigate safely and responsibly the online world.
- Promote content and learning resources on Digital for Life website, so that the public can learn such as on digital competencies, online safety or Gen AI for daily living tasks
What we are looking for
- Minimum 15 years' relevant working experience in policy and planning role, partnerships and engagement, and project management, i.e. in policy-ops integration, with at least 5 years in management capacity.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Good people engagement and communication skills (both oral and written)
- Excel at communications, planning and strong in ownership
- Good knowledge and understanding of infocomm technologies and the education sector
- Ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders
- Past experience in any of the following would be useful:
- Policy formulation
- Partnership and engagement or ecosystem development strategy and execution
- Education
Position will be commensurate with experience.
