[What the role is]
You will be part of the Fort Canning Park (FCP) team that manages and oversees the programmes, events and operations of the park.

[What you will be working on]
You will be part of the team based in Fort Canning Park to manage the park. You will contribute towards the greenery maintenance, upkeep of park facilities, and ensure the execution of day-to-day park operations such as tree inspections and cleansing work are carried out in a timely manner to provide a safe and pleasant experience for park visitors.

You will plan, develop, and implement greening, development, conservation, community engagement initiatives and events, in collaboration with colleagues as well as partners from the public and private sectors.

Your duties will also include coordinating with stakeholders and vendors to manage operations for events held in the park, ensuring smooth execution of programmes such as heritage tours and the management of park volunteers.


[What we are looking for]
  • Area of studies in Horticulture/Environmental Science/Life Science or any other related discipline
  • Certified Practicing Horticulturist, accredited with the Australian Institute of Horticulture or Certified Arborist, accredited with International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) will be an advantage
  • Keen interest in nature, plants, greenery and environmental horticulture
  • Enjoy working outdoors and interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Creative and resourceful individual with good interpersonal and writing skills
  • Able to work in team environment, adaptable with a diverse range of duties and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
