Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Responsible for system integration, test and characterization. Define system and subsystem specifications
Provide training to manufacturing engineers and NPI engineers.
Support manufacturing and field service on optics and systems related escalations. On a day-to-day basis have the ability to resolve apparent conflicts and make priority calls that are aligned with program objectives. Escalate when appropriate.
Document design, testing and diagnosis procedures to transfer the design to manufacturing.
Communicate status and changes on a periodic basis to management in the form of weekly reports and live presentation.
Maintain rigor within the group by demanding adherence to the planned strategy and calling for periodic reviews to determine if the plan needs to change.
Be an agent of change: The semiconductor industry is a fast-paced industry with constant change and ever-increasing speed of new product introductions. The successful candidate is expected to adopt and drive new ideas and new ways of doing things in a fast moving and highly competitive industry.
Requirements:
Ability to work effectively with little supervision and achieve results in a timely manner
Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills. Ideally, have strong experience in managing and messaging to customers.
Proven track record of technical issues resolution. Good problem solver who works well as part of a focused team.
Experience developing or supporting complex optical-mechanical systems or assemblies
Experience in optoelectronics, sensor technology, microscopy, optics, or systems design/support.
Deep understanding of lithography and semiconductor manufacturing process
Excellent English communication skills are required.
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Optics, or related fields with at least 5-8 years of work experience.
