Job Summary:

  • Lead the Memberships team to generate a positive engagement climate of members.
  • Formulate and implement marketing and public relations strategies for membership acquisition.
  • Custodian of Membership by-laws and policies at the Club.
  • Manage the P&L by being accountable for revenue generation, cost control, budgeting, forecast and profitability which aligns with overall business objectives.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day supervision of Membership sales, operations and services.
  • Organize Membership events to enhance members’ engagement.
  • Implement retention strategies to enhance member loyalty and minimize attrition.
  • Work with and develop new interest group committees to organize activities.
  • Plan sales & marketing strategies for membership acquisition.
  • Coordinate production of all Membership marketing materials.
  • Work with third parties for exclusive member privileges.
  • Coordinate, manage and acquire additional reciprocal and affiliate Clubs.
  • Handle membership procedures, rules and policies and by-laws.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budget and ongoing forecast.
  • Develop training programs for the membership team’s sales and acquisition skills, and manage their productivity, plans and projects.
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values, and represent the club at networking events, trade shows, and conferences
  • Database supervision and ensure accuracy of member information.
  • Manage member feedback effectively in accordance with Club constitution.

Requirements:

  • Degree holders preferred.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role managing people.
  • Ideally from Hospitality, Luxury, or Financial industry and heavily people focused.
  • Proven ability to engage, attract, and convert HNWI’s through an established personal network preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, resourceful and proactive.
  • Possess strong analytical and interpersonal qualities.
  • Able to multi-task and work within tight deadlines with good organizational skills.
  • 5-day workweek, with a requirement to work on weekends from time to time.
  • Some occasional travel and predominantly in the region.
