Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Site Survey Technician to conduct on-site assessments for CCTV installation at our project sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP camera technology and a solid understanding of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) works, including wire laying, conduit installation, underground trenching, and power tapping. While the role does not involve performing physical installations, the technician must possess in-depth knowledge to plan and coordinate efficient installation routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily site surveys for CCTV installation at project sites.
  • Assess the site environment and identify optimal camera positions, enclosure locations, cable routing paths, and power sources.
  • Propose appropriate camera models based on project requirements and site conditions.
  • Identify and document potential installation challenges and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed site survey reports, including schematics, camera placement diagrams, and technical notes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the IP Camera industry or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of M&E works, including cable routing, conduit installation, and power integration.
  • Proficiency in selecting IP cameras, enclosures, and power sources based on site conditions.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills to consolidate survey findings into structured reports.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with on-site teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CCTV system integration in large-scale projects.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts for IP camera deployment.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards related to CCTV installation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,800.00 - $3,000.00 per month
