Role Overview
We’re looking for a passionate Fitness Coach who shares our vision. Key Responsibilities
1. Client Training
Guide clients through personalized training programs, making sure the exercises are tailored to their specific needs and goals. Help them refine techniques, ensuring safety and progress.
2. Nutrition Guidance
Educate clients on how nutrition impacts their fitness goals, offering practical, simple advice they can integrate into their lives. Support clients in staying on track with personalized recommendations and hold them accountable along the way.
3. Lifestyle Management
Inform clients about the importance of sleep, stress management, and healthy lifestyle habits. Provide actionable tips that help them balance their fitness goals with their overall well-being.
4. Coaching Support
Understand each client’s unique goals, challenges, and fitness history. Develop a coaching plan that’s tailored just for them. Use data to track progress and provide constructive feedback and motivation.
5. Ongoing Support
Help clients schedule training sessions and maintain regular communication. Be there to address any concerns, celebrate milestones, and offer guidance as needed.
Job Requirements
1. Experience:
Coaching and Training: Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the fitness industry, ideally in personal coaching and training.
Personal Fitness: Minimum of 2 years of personal experience in any fitness discipline, including at least 1 year of experience with resistance training.
Service Industry Experience: Experience in any other client-facing roles is a plus!
2. Technical Skills:
Knowledge of exercise techniques, proper form, and progressions.
Strong understanding of nutrition and its relationship to fitness goals.
Preferred: Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and supplementation.
3. Coaching Skills:
Client-Centric: Genuinely empathetic, always prioritizing clients’ needs and fostering a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
Open to New Ideas and Learning: Embraces new ideas and is always looking to improve, adapting coaching methods to meet clients’ needs.
Responsible: Takes ownership of tasks and ensures follow-through with attention to detail.
Teamwork: Enjoys collaborating with fellow coaches and sharing insights for the best client experience.
Positivity: Encourages clients with an upbeat, motivating attitude, even when they face challenges.
Good Communication: Explains concepts clearly and communicates effectively with clients and the team.
Data-Driven: Uses data to adjust training programs and track client progress.
Proactive and Solution-Oriented: Identifies challenges and takes initiative to solve them.
Job Details
Start Date: May 1, 2025
Work Hours: This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, including time for planning, conducting sessions, team meetings, and personal development. Hours are flexible and will be adjusted based on client needs.
