Project Description:
Evaluate the TEL Vigus tool electrostatic chuck (ESC) hardware life extension from 9000 to 10000 RF hours to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Scope:
As an intern, you will work under the mentorship of a senior engineer to extend the hardware lifetime of the electrostatic chuck. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Hands-on experience with the Dry Etch TEL Vigus tool through on-the-job training in a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the Dry Etch process and fixing process deviations.
  • Proposing plans and strategies to meet qualification timelines.
  • Collaborating with process/equipment engineers and technicians on process characterization, problem-solving, statistical data analysis, and design of experiments.

Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Dry Etch process and an overview of the TEL Vigus tool.
  • Extension of ESC lifetime from 9000 to 10000 RF hours.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic about gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Eager to learn and contribute to productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
