Tasks & Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the transformer and switchgear production, and railway support systems industries.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, conduct presentations, and deliver tailored proposals.
Technical Expertise & Solution Selling
- Provide technical guidance and customized solutions to clients.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet specifications and quality standards
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and evaluate industry demands.
- Provide regular feedback on market opportunities and customer preferences.
Customer Support & Relationship Management:
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, ensuring clients receive timely assistance.
- Ensure smooth order processing and delivery coordination with the production team.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, follow-ups, and proactive problem-solving.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare sales reports, track performance, and maintain accurate CRM records to ensure sales targets are met.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent technical experience.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in sales engineering or technical sales, with a strong focus on power supply projects, preferably within manufacturing, construction, or related industries such as switchgear, transformers or railway infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of switchgear and transformer production, electrical systems, and railway support technologies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to explain complex technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and construction projects as needed.
- Experience in project management and handling large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations (such as ISO, IEC, or railway standards).
- Ability to develop tailored proposals and bids for complex technical projects.
