Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures on mail handling and distribution to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
Oversee the efficient intake and organization of incoming mail and packages to ensure proper sorting and timely distribution.
Maintain precise records for all incoming and outgoing mail, tracking key details like tracking numbers, delivery status, and timestamps.
Coordinate with the courier team to schedule and manage timely pick-ups and deliveries of outgoing packages.
Prepare outgoing mail and parcels, ensuring correct packaging, labeling, and compliance with postage and shipping requirements.
Operate and maintain mailroom equipment, including postage meters, sorting machines, and scanners, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
Provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries regarding mail delivery, status, or any related concerns.
Monitor and replenish mailroom supplies such as envelopes, stamps, and packaging materials, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mailroom environment to support smooth daily operations.
Screen all mails received using X-ray machines and explosive detectors.
Handle suspect/threat mails by following prescribed procedures for containment and notification.
Work Conditions
Monday to Friday (0800 hours until 1800 hours)
Location: West
Environment: Air-conditioned workspace with CCTV surveillance
Job Requirements
Minimum N-Level
At least 1 years of working experience in mailroom
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in written and spoken English
Valid security licence will be advantageous
