Working Location: Joo Chiat, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM
Contract Duration: 12 months (Renewable and Convertible)
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to make sales calls, manage customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and travel to meet clients, along with strategic planning and market analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
• Make outbound sales calls to assigned customers to achieve sales targets.
• Provide customers with alternative brand products for end-of-life (EOL) parts.
• Serve as the primary contact between all sales channels, customers, and internal departments.
• Creatively solve problems to meet sales and customer objectives.
• Develop and report competitive information on market conditions, account potential, industry trends, and sales strategies.
• Effectively profile target accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the industry.
• Travel locally and internationally to meet key customers face-to-face as needed.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
• Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.
• Make and deliver presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
• Create and implement processes and policies to support overall business operations.
• Track, identify, and add qualified prospects to the sales pipeline.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.
• Track and report on the status of proposal components.
• Conduct ongoing market research.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the IT technology sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and drive business growth.
• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
• Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
