As the Digital Marketing and E-commerce Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive online sales and enhance brand visibility. You will oversee our e-commerce platforms, optimize customer journeys, and implement data-driven marketing campaigns to achieve business objectives. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the digital landscape.

Key Responsibility

Digital Marketing Strategy

• Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms.

• Define the online go-to-market & category growth strategy collaborating across pillars and

• Manage and optimize digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience.

E-commerce Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Royal Canin’s e-commerce platforms, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

• Monitor and analyze e-commerce performance metrics, including conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs.

• Identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to enhance product visibility and sales on e-commerce platforms.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Execute a solid mapping of our online retailers / marketplaces and collect/update data to follow market trends and anticipate decisions.

• Collaborate with relevant parties on the utilization of data to enhance the usage of Royal Canin Club, and other relevant system/program.

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.

Pricing and Trade Terms:

• Define our pricing and trade terms strategy to support our growth ambition. Align with the Regional/Global approach, especially for international e-commerce KA.

Category Leadership:

• Provide online category insights & strategy.

• Align with our Global Category Leadership and define a story to be deployed locally. Translate the category management strategy into growth initiatives, including joint business plans.

• Explore the different channel opportunities, including B2B2C and B2C.

Team Collaboration

• Manage fully the relationship with eDistributor, 3PL, local customers (omnichannel, pure players, etc), marketplaces, agencies, customer care team, etc.

• Work closely with the marketing, sales teams to align digital marketing efforts with overall business goals.

• Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to enhance digital marketing initiatives and e-commerce performance.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing and e-commerce management, preferably within the FMCG or pet care industry.

• Proven track record of successfully managing digital marketing campaigns and driving e-commerce sales.

• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.).

• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, etc.) and online marketplaces (e.g., Lazada, Shopee).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Creative mindset with a passion for digital marketing and e-commerce trends.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
