Senior Executive (IRB)
Research Integrity and Ethics Office (RIEO) offers essential support to researchers and other personnel in areas of research work involving humans and/or animals. This position is to support the administration and operations of NTU-IRB, helping to ensure that research activities involving human subjects meet regulatory requirements and are conducted to high ethical standards in NTU.
Job Description
Assist the IRB Manager in supporting administrative functions of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure smooth operations
Assist in the tracking of projects on the IRB system, and numbers generation for monthly reporting.
Prepare IRB approval letters, and maintain IRB study-related documentations and databases.
Provide administrative support for monthly IRB meetings.
Serve as a resource person for investigators regarding IRB policies/procedures and the IRB electronic submissions systems.
Assist in general office admin, including maintaining office supplies.
Perform any other ad-hoc job-related duties when assigned.
Job Requirements
Graduates from polytechnic/university, preferably with 3 years of experience in administrative support.
Proficient in MS office applications especially MS Excel for tracking and reporting.
Prior experience in events management will be an added advantage.
Meeting of deadlines, prioritizing competing demands and maintain work accuracy in a pressured environment.
Attention to detail and ability to follow and document processes.
Able to work meticulously with minimum supervision.
Good oral and communication skills.
Team player with good interpersonal skills.
Willing to assume responsibilities as directed.
