Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programming & Operation:
  • Develop and modify CMM programs for part inspections using industry-leading software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso).
  • Perform CMM inspections to ensure parts meet precise design specifications and tolerances.
  • Quality Assurance & Inspection:
  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using CMM and other measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
  • Generate detailed inspection reports documenting results, measurements, and deviations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve any quality issues or concerns.
  • Data Analysis & Process Monitoring:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret inspection data to identify trends and ensure consistent quality.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods to track process performance and recommend improvements.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and design teams to review technical drawings and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement in production quality.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain up-to-date calibration records for CMM machines and other inspection tools.
  • Ensure all inspections comply with ISO and other relevant industry standards.
  • Document non-conformance issues and participate in corrective action processes.
  • Maintenance & Equipment Care:
  • Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CMM machines and inspection equipment.
  • Work with the maintenance team to resolve any equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent future quality issues.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in CMM programming and operation in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methods, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and precision measurement tools.
  • Knowledge in Wenzel machine
  • Preferred with Singapore Experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
