Job Overview: The Compliance & HR Officer will play a critical role in managing the company’s compliance with regulatory standards and overseeing HR functions to maintain a positive, efficient, and supportive work environment. You will ensure that the company adheres to insurance regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, while also supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, and overall HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance:
- Monitor and ensure adherence to all applicable insurance laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining and updating compliance procedures to ensure the firm meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and address them proactively.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding regulatory compliance and company policies.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage regulatory reporting, submissions, and inspections as required.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to insurance industry regulations, laws, and best practices.
Human Resources:
- Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure timely hiring and smooth integration of new employees into the company.
- Administer employee benefits programs, payroll processing, and leave management.
- Provide HR support to employees on performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive, inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Develop and implement HR policies, ensuring alignment with company values and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and oversee employee performance reviews and development programs.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to help employees grow and achieve their career goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in compliance, HR, or related roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience in HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High attention to detail and ability to navigate complex regulatory and legal requirements.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
