Job Description

We are seeking dynamic and experienced trainers, facilitators, and course developers to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering Network Security courses that are practical, industry-focused, and aligned with global cybersecurity frameworks. The successful candidate will be the lead trainer for the courses they develop and will be given priority to train across all course runs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and update course materials for network security training.
  • Facilitate and conduct training sessions both on-site at Tanjong Pagar and online through e-learning platforms.
  • Engage with students to ensure an interactive and hands-on learning environment.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Quanterra team to enhance the overall training experience.

Course Topics Include (But Not Limited To):

  • Introduction to Network Security and Cyber Threats
  • Fundamentals of TCP/IP, Network Protocols, and Secure Architecture
  • Firewall Configuration, IDS/IPS Systems, and Access Controls
  • VPNs and Secure Remote Access Technologies
  • Wireless Network Security and Encryption Methods
  • Network Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking Techniques
  • Security Hardening for Routers, Switches, and Servers
  • Zero Trust Security Model and Identity Access Management (IAM)
  • Compliance with Security Standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)
  • And many more within the network security and cybersecurity defense domain.

Remuneration

  • Daily rate: $480 - $1200, with revenue-sharing incentive bonuses based on performance.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

General Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in training, facilitation, or education in network security, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with students.
  • ACLP certification (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance) is advantageous but not required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.

Specific Skills and Expertise:

  • Strong expertise in network security, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection.
  • Proficiency in network security tools such as Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Snort, and Wireshark.
  • Experience in penetration testing, security audits, and incident response.
  • Industry-recognized certifications in network security, such as CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), CISSP, or GIAC GSEC.
  • Ability to design and develop structured, industry-relevant course materials.
