Job Description
We are seeking dynamic and experienced trainers, facilitators, and course developers to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering SOC courses that are practical, industry-focused, and aligned with global cybersecurity best practices. The successful candidate will be the lead trainer for the courses they develop and will be given priority to train across all course runs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update course materials for Security Operations Center (SOC) training.
- Facilitate and conduct training sessions both on-site at Tanjong Pagar and online through e-learning platforms.
- Engage with students to ensure an interactive and hands-on learning environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with the Quanterra team to enhance the overall training experience.
Course Topics Include (But Not Limited To):
- Introduction to Security Operations Centers (SOC) and Cybersecurity Frameworks
- SOC Roles, Responsibilities, and Incident Response Workflow
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Solutions (Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)
- Threat Intelligence, Cyber Threat Hunting, and Malware Analysis
- Network Security Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and Prevention
- Incident Handling, Digital Forensics, and Log Analysis
- Automating SOC Operations with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)
- Risk Assessment, Compliance, and Security Governance
- SOC Case Studies, Real-World Cyber Attacks, and Incident Simulations
- And many more within the SOC and cybersecurity operations domain.
Remuneration
- Daily rate: $480 - $1200, with revenue-sharing incentive bonuses based on performance.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
General Qualifications:
- Prior experience in training, facilitation, or education in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or digital forensics.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with students.
- ACLP certification (Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance) is advantageous but not required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
Specific Skills and Expertise:
- Strong expertise in SOC operations, SIEM tools, and incident response methodologies.
- Proficiency in security monitoring tools such as Splunk, QRadar, ELK Stack, or ArcSight.
- Experience in threat hunting, malware analysis, and cybersecurity automation.
- Industry-recognized certifications in cybersecurity and SOC operations, such as Certified SOC Analyst (CSA), CompTIA CySA+, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), CISSP, or CEH.
- Ability to design and develop structured, industry-relevant course materials.
