About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/ Manager to support the Assistant Director (Admin) in preparing reports, presentations, and papers for management and external agencies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist in drafting reports, papers, policy and procedure documents.
- Prepare presentation slides and briefing materials for meetings.
- Coordinate and consolidate information from stakeholders needed for the writing and reporting.
- Manage the workflow to ensure timely submission of documents and reports.
- Assist in liaising with government agencies, funding bodies, and industry partners.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for meetings, including agenda setting and minute-taking.
- Support new and ad-hoc initiatives from senior management.
- Assist in working with legal team in reviewing of intellectual property rights clauses in research agreements and related documents.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
- Preferably 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience in research administration, policy writing, research support, or corporate communications. (5+ years for senior position).
- Experience in intellectual property rights, contracts, or research agreements is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) for document preparation and presentations
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to draft reports, papers, and policy documents, handle engagements and discussions with stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks. Able to adjust to changing priorities.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good team player and work ethics.
