  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

As a Community Engagement & RISE (Rising in Support of Enterprises) Programme Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in programme management, event coordination, and community building. This internship offers you the opportunity to contribute to the growth of women entrepreneurs in their entrepreneurial journeys.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, venue management, and communication with speakers and participants.
  • Coordinate participant registrations and maintain communication with attendees.
  • Help develop collaterals and manage event promotion through social media, email newsletters, and other channels.
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of feedback to evaluate the success of each training session.
  • Collaborate with the programme team to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality experience for participants.
  • Support the engagements of select Trade Association Chambers (TACs) to build relationships, deepen knowledge of women entrepreneurs in their membership, and explore collaboration opportunities for Singapore Women Entrepreneurs Network (SG-WEN) to support them.
  • Conduct research and analysis on women chapters / women entrepreneur networks in Singapore to develop a consolidated resource of essential information about women entrepreneur networks.

Requirements

  • Preferably pursuing a degree in Communications, Business.
  • Must be able to commit to a minimum three-month full-time internship from May onwards.
  • Detailed-oriented, structured, and organised.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content for various platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media management and community engagement will be advantageous.
