Lead Time Planner

Our Team

Governance of End-to-End lead times (transit lead times between locations, internal production lead times, inbound lead times from external suppliers) for all material types.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with lead time owners/stakeholders to align market competitiveness, supply strategies and inventory requirements
  • Sourcing and Procurement for external Supplier Lead Times
  • Production planners for internal Production Lead Times
  • Global Transportation team for Transit Lead Times
  • Product and Sales team for Published Customer Lead Times
  • Evaluate financial tradeoffs of lead times (impacts on revenue/profitability/market share/customer satisfaction against cost to serve)
  • Evaluate inventory risk of pre-positioning/excess build against loss of sales/customer
  • Determine solution and associated costs to meet product strategy
  • Establish formal, repeatable process to assess existing items and define for new product introductions
  • Consider a centralized capability using scalable analytics to support division led decision making process
  • Utilize analytics to determine supply strategy and associated costs to meet product strategy
  • Utilize key resources from various stakeholders as an input to planning and execution processes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Supply Chain Management, APICS certification desirable
  • Minimum 2-3 years' work experience in Supply chain planning
  • Exposure to inventory planning and replenishment tools
  • Familiarity with ERP environment, preferably with SAP ECC
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills, detail oriented
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Great collaborative and interpersonal skills

What Will Put You Ahead
  • SAP PP module applications; MRP knowledge, Inventory Management
  • APICS certification
  • Ability to process and evaluate large data sets
  • Usage of data process & visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, python
  • GSOP knowledge is preferred
