Key Responsibilities
The individual will be under the Cabin Handling Department and is responsible to review and initiate strategies to enhance operational effectiveness. He/she will develop and track Cabin Handling’s performance standards and enhancements, developing the team’s capabilities and main positive morale.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and track Cabin Handling’s performance standards and enhancements
- Review/develop Cabin Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and systems to enhance operational effectiveness and to mitigate safety/security risks.
- Involvement in projects and initiatives that uplift the operational effectiveness of Cabin Handling
- Conduct and facilitate audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved.
- Build strong working relationships with employees, HOD's and other departments to ensure maximum operating effectiveness;
- Monitor and ensure adherence to safety and security standards, and collaborate with departments for safety briefings and campaigns.
- Be involved in training matters for Cabin Handling employees and develop the teams’ capabilities.
- Assist in staff engagement and welfare matters to maintain positive morale in the department.
- Other ad-hoc projects as assigned
Key Requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Degree with at least 2 years of experience in operational and process improvement roles will be advantageous.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess good people management, decision-making and problem–solving abilities;
- Independent, driven and resourceful team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong time management and analytical skills, attention to details
- Effective team management and leadership skills.
- Comfortable to provide coaching, advice and assistance when required
