TECHNICAL ASSISTANT / PURCHASER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involved in daily purchasing activities; plan and execute purchases of spare parts and supplies for the vessels.
- Coordinate with suppliers to secure cost-effective pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods to the vessel.
- Coordinate with the technical team to assess product specification and ensure all purchases meet the required standards.
- Maintain accurate records of PO and timely processing of invoices.
- Periodically update the status surveys and certificates for all vessels.
Requirements:
- Min 2 years of working experience as Purchaser or Purchasing Role for Ship Management companies.
- Detail oriented, good analytical skills and able to multi-task
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiently in Microsoft Office
