Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Identity & Access Management.
- Configure and monitor virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Oversee cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.
- Implement security policies, including patch management, endpoint protection, and compliance.
- Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Ansible, or similar scripting tools.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot server, storage, and network issues.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Work closely with IT support teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Systems Engineering or IT infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Experience with cloud computing (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Understanding of networking protocols, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Experience with security frameworks, compliance, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
