MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Provides support to the Manufacturing organization to facilitate the efficient operations within the production area.
- To optimize existing processes and to ensure that production goals are met. Ensures attainment of level of production and activities on an hour-to-hour, daily, monthly and yearly basis.
- Interfaces with Quality and Research & Development organizations to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area.
- Ensure the execution of the capital project on processes, equipment, plant facilities are compliance with the Safety and GMP policies, procedures, standards and statutory requirement.
- Ensure manufacturing production requirements are met in terms of utilities supplies and engineering support.
- Manage the overall manufacturing department training plan for exempt and non-exempt staff.
- Support Process and Packaging Management System POMS and SAP related initiatives.
- Manage manufacturing related resource plan and Non-Financial / Out of profile project govern ance .
- Manage overall manufacturing EHS Risk assessment plan and review.
- Manage overall MFG spent and dept cost & govern Cost Improvement Project.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for managing the overall projects related to Manufacturing Equipment/ design while ensuring the highest levels of quality.
- Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products.
- Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at an effective operating cost. Review Standard Operating Procedures {SOPs) for new improved manufacturing processes and ensure alignment with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMPs)
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.
- Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or process, for current programs, next generation programs and to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company.
- Prepares reports, publishes and makes presentations to communicate findings.
- Analyzes and solves problems from basic engineering principles, theories and concepts through to a wide range of complex and advanced problems which require novel and new solutions.
- Recommend innovative approaches or a major breakthrough in technology.
- Develops knowledge in a field to become a recognized leader or authority in the area of specialization and applies this knowledge in leadership roles in the company.
- Incorporate business policies and procedures into task completion.
- Understands the business needs of the company and has knowledge of the customer needs of our business.
- Understands the business cycle and foresight of emerging technologies and t rend s.
- Cultivates internal and external network of resources to complete tasks.
- May lead a project team, determining goals and objectives for the projects.
- Mentors employees by sharing technical expertise and providing feedback and guidance.
- Serves as a consultant for engineering and scientific interpretations and advice on significant matters.
- Acts as a spokesperson to customers on business unit current and future capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical or Mechanical Engineering or in related discipline.
- More than 6 years of related experience.
- Knowledge in SAP system/ Project Management skills .
- Able to make fast decision and react efficiently to sit uat ion.
- Understands engineering principles, theories concepts, practices and technique s.
- Experience in Project Management
