Production Packer, Scent & Care (6-Month Contract – Packing)
As a Production Packer leading out Scent & Care business unit, you will be responsible to perform packing and labelling of finished fragrances, cosmetic ingredients and mint products to achieve daily production target, cycle time, quality goals with minimum wastage and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Total Productive Maintenance (TMP) and ISO standards. You will be required to carry up to 25kg of materials and you are expected to commit 2 weekly rotating shifts and comfortable working in a strong smelling environment.
The Position:
Pack fragrances, cosmetic ingredients and mint products with minimal supervision and wastage.
Labelling and documentation for finished products.
Handle raw materials inventory, sample collection for quality testing and packing of finished goods / raw materials as instructed by Shift Leader.
Perform cleaning of mixed vessels and cleaning-in-process (CIP) for fixed tanks
Ensure all unused production materials returned to designated location
Practice proper housekeeping in accordance with standard guidelines
Ensure all necessary safety measures are taken when driving electric stacker in production area
Report production issue such as haziness, colour change, drum leaking in the process of manufacturing
Implement the concept of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), philosophy of Total Production Management (TPM) and as well as ISO standards in production area.
The Ideal Candidate:
Min. GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ Level and above. Candidates with no relevant work experience are welcome to apply.
A strong team player, independent and willingness to work on morning and afternoon shifts.
Proficient in both spoken and written English to liaise with English speaking stakeholders.
Computer literacy in Production Systems, SAP and Microsoft Office is an added advantage.
Forklift Licence is an added advantage.
Able to carry up to 25kg and withstand strong smelling environment.
