Description:

Intern will have the opportunity to work in a world class cleanroom environment, and be actively involved in a Continuous Improvement Project (CIP) in which we aim to improve the wafer quality during the polishing process inside the CMP polishing equipment. Through design innovation and implementation, the intern will be able to work on a device which assist in early detection of a module premature failure, to prevent wafer scrap. On top of that, intern will also be exposed to other productivity projects which will help improve line efficiency.

Project Scope:

To collaborate with our shift equipment teams to help drive this CIP to completion.

To participate in weekly 6s fab walks, to upkeep the condition of our fab environment.

To work with our productivity engineers to use in-house systems to improve our automation capability.

To collect and analyze equipment data, to make meaningful and informed engineering decisions.

Deliverable: The CIP implementation will potentially contribute to the workstation's manufacturing availability, by reducing the unscheduled downtime of the equipment fleet, as well as reducing the number of wafer scraps.

Skillset Required: Automation, Software exposure (Python, web/tableau programming), strong hands on mindset, good analytical skills.
