About the role

As part of Global Consulting & Operations this position will support new revenue growth and existing repeating revenue by acting as a solution specialist, answering RFPs and RFIs, handling POCs, driving thought leadership and contributing to helping LexisNexis Risk Solutions commitment to continuously innovate.

As a Solutions Consultant you will be the go-to-person for a very successful sales team. Your role will be to drive top line revenue for LexisNexis Risk Solutions by working with your sales, product management, professional services, and marketing colleagues to directly support prospective and existing customers during the sales process. You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be highly motivated with a great sense of initiative.The Solutions Consultant role within the RiskNarrative SC team will place you in a fast-paced environment, bringing a consistently varied workload, allowing lots of potential for exposure to a broad range of customer conversations at all levels, and opportunities for growth. The technology is cutting edge, and the capability is both broad and infinitely configurable, meaning that no two customer projects are the same.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a deep domain subject matter expert on the RiskNarrative platform and it’s application across regulated markets
  • Support high value and/or complex opportunities
  • Be responsible for maintaining high levels of RN product and market knowledge across the RN Core SC team
  • Assist sales calls remotely or face to face in qualifying opportunities and delivering product demonstrations and presentations
  • Manage Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), remote Proof of Concept (POCs) processes
  • Coordinate hand over of information between the Sales teams and Professional Services Group for product creation
  • Support the sales team in pricing customisation
  • Be responsible for acting as the lead technical specialist for global RiskNarrative sales activity, to support commercial engagements where deep technical product knowledge is required. The role is to help give prospects the confidence and understanding of how the RiskNarrative solution operates, and will interface with their internal architecture, to ensure the success of the sales team, and correspondingly the global RiskNarrative sales target
  • Answering questions from technical stakeholders on the customer side in relation to integration to, and deployment of, the RiskNarrative solution
  • Responsible for creating process maps and other technical artefacts to help articulate complex configuration and system interactions, in order to help support successful and accurate delivery of the RiskNarrative solution
  • Responsible for leading the presentation of the technical aspects of the RiskNarrative solution through demos and process flows to help evidence how it aligns with our customer’s requirements. This will require understanding of the RiskNarrative API (Application Programming Interface) and some basic understanding of the infrastructure, architecture, and security protocols to manage initial discussions with customers
  • Support other Solutions Consulting activity as required



Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in pre-sales/solutions consulting, professional services, or sales role, working collaboratively with Sales Teams, understanding the full sales life cycle & processes
  • Financial Crime and Compliance industry experience would be beneficial
  • Proven experience gained within a Technology and/or Data focused organization and solution implementation experience
  • Proven experience leading complex sales engagements selling cloud technology into regulated markets
  • University or bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • MS Office expertise, including strong PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially in customer-facing contexts. Ability to convey technical subject matters in simple business friendly terms
  • Highly motivated self-starter, naturally pro-active with great sense of initiative
  • Public speaking, or public presentation
