CNC TURNER
1.Set up CNC turning machines, including selecting and installing tools, adjusting machine settings, and loading the correct programs.
2.Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand the required dimensions, tolerances, and material types.
3. Operate CNC turning machines to shape and cut materials (usually metal, plastic, or other materials) into precise parts.
4.Load raw materials (like metal rods or bars) into the machine and program the CNC machine to perform required operations.
5. Monitor the production process to ensure that parts are being produced accurately and within specifications.
6.Perform regular inspections of parts using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) to ensure they meet the required specifications.
7. Perform basic maintenance on the machines to keep them in good working condition, such as cleaning, lubricating, or replacing worn-out parts.
8. Ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety laws.
9. Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced, machine settings, and any maintenance performed
10. Manage and maintain the tooling and equipment required for turning operations, including tool changeovers and sharpening.
Requirements :
1.10yrs of relevant experience in CNC turning operations
2.A high school diploma or equivalent is generally the minimum educational requirement.
3.Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot problems and make adjustments to the machining process.
4.A solid understanding of machining processes, including turning, milling, and other related operations, is essential.
