We are presently seeking an ambitious algorithmic trader who will spearhead the establishment of their own trading desk. ***This role is intended for algorithmic traders, but traders without coding experience will be considered. You will need your own trading strategies.***

What Will You Do At Quant Matter?

  • Able to run your own desk and manage your own profit and loss.
  • Able to come up with new trading ideas, new algorithms and trading strategies.
  • Able to improve current strategies.
  • Able to develop new functionalities for existing trading platforms.
  • Research financial markets, develop quantitative trading models and analyse results.

Our Ideal Candidates Would Have

  • Minimum 2 years experience in trading one or more asset classes including Equities, Options, Futures, Forex, and others.
  • Familiarity with markets such as the United States, KRX, JPX, Australia, China, cryptocurrencies, and other relevant markets.
  • Any major is welcome, but a diploma, BS/MS/PhD in computer science, mathematics, or quantitative financial modelling is preferable.
  • Passion about algorithmic trading and HFT trading.
  • A self-motivated and can-do attitude.
  • Proven track of trading record.
  • Excellent coding skills will be a plus (C++, Java and Python).
  • Have a broad understanding of macro-economic drives in the business environment.
  • Preferable 3 years of experience in the financial industry.
