Job Description:
- Conduct fundamental research in AI for Science (e.g., Machine Learning for Quantum Chemistry, Biology, Material Science); Design algorithms for solving Quantum many-body problems;
- Collaborate on large projects that are strategically prioritized by the SAIL.
- Ph.D. or Master's student from top national or global universities, majoring in CS, Math, Statistics, Physics, or other related disciplines.
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Publications or experience in machine learning and AI (ICML/NeurIPS/ICLR/AISTATS), or publications in CNS (Cell, Nature/Nature research journals, Science), Physical Review Journals (PRL, PRA, PRB, etc.). A good math or physics background is expected.
- Knowledge in one of the differentiable programming frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX.
