(A) Job Summary:

Manages the purchases of construction materials and service at site.

(B) Essential Job Functions:

The Purchasing Officer (Site) is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Make orders for construction materials and other items as requested.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Ensure all delivery orders are in accordance to PO and verification of DO for preparation of payment.
  • Call for quotations and source for new supplies if need and recommendation of award.
  • Follow up on complaints on product quality.
  • Process and generate PO/RO.
  • Any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

(C) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

  • GCE O/A Levels or Diploma qualifications.
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil projects.

(D) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

  • Good time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Team player.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
