Healthcare Educator ( Locum)
SALOHealth Management is a Nurse-Led home-based nursing and Nurse Agency in Singapore. We are committed to improving the health and well-being of the elderly and the wider community. As part of our outreach program, we organize health talks to educate the public, especially seniors, on topics such as chronic disease management, healthy aging, preventive care, and mental well-being.
We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable Healthcare Educator to join our team on a flexible basis. If you have a relevant background in healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact in the community, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and informative health talks to the public, with a focus on elderly audiences.
- Cover topics such as chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), healthy aging, nutrition, fall prevention, mental health, and caregiver support.
- Adapt content to suit the needs and understanding of diverse audiences.
- Provide practical tips and actionable advice to help participants improve their health and well-being.
- Interact with attendees, answer questions, and address concerns in a clear and empathetic manner.
- Collaborate with the Nurse HomeCare Team to develop and refine talk content as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively at all times.
Requirements::
- Degree or diploma in Nursing, Allied Health, Public Health, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SNB registration for nurses) are a plus.
- Flexible availability to accommodate weekday, weekend, or evening talks as needed.
- Ability to simplify complex health topics for general audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Passion for community health and elder care.
