Responsibilities
- Manage trading book under given risk limits.
- Responsible for market making and managing order book.
- Work collaboratively with electronic Foreign Exchange (eFX) team to grow electronic business.
- Work with sales and other partners to grow the franchise and deliver trading budget.
- Know and respect the Volcker law's requirements, in the performance of certain duties as listed in handbooks.
- Operate in conformance with the mandate and in compliance with the Societe Generale (SG) procedures established for the enforcement of the French Banking Law compliance and Volker Rule.
- Manage positions under sound and effective risk management including for achieving individual business objectives.
- Adhere to SG policies, procedures and Code of Conduct; understand and act in compliance with all laws and regulations, including, but not limited to anti-money laundering and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, relevant to area of responsibility and business.
- Act with responsibility, accountability and autonomy by utilizing sound judgment to make risk-mitigating decisions while remaining aware of the impact and consequences of such decisions to SG and our clients.
- Escalate any material risk, compliance or control-related issues that comes to your attention.
- Seek opportunities to improve the risk, compliance and control environment at SG and with our clients.

Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with a Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering or other equivalent background
- A few years' experience in market making South-east Asian/South Asian Foreign Exchange (FX)
- Good knowledge/expertise or experience in electronic Foreign Exchange (eFX)
- Track record of trading profitability
- Team player and driven, ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Disciplined risk management and experience in working with other partners to grow client franchise
- Good data analytical skill is preferred.
