Job Description

  • Bridge between local teams and regional Product Managers to assess all aspects of Video & Live streaming product feature requirements from both business and product perspectives
  • Ensure the communication of new feature development & localization to local teams (Proposals, UAT, A/B Test, Rollout to local teams, troubleshooting)
  • Manage requests from internal stakeholders, support the end-to-end product operations from project planning, and execution, to reporting and measuring of performance
  • Ensure daily workflow tasks are completed within designated timelines with good quality.
  • Explore video and live streaming content trends by conducting regular research and analysis on market trends, trending topics, trending effects, etc
  • Drive the enhancement of the overall feature performance and user experience to achieve higher impact with developers and product managers
  • Lead and mentor the Content Product Ops team to achieve overall goals, best practices and alignment across multiple stakeholders such as both regional and local PM and MKT teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in any discipline,
  • product management/business/Media related majors are preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related industry experience in product management, live streaming, short video, content and Ads products are highly desirable
  • Proficiency in English (required) and familiarity with Chinese or any Southeastern Asian languages (optional) to facilitate cross-border communications and collaborations
  • Have a strong interest in short videos and live streaming, knowledge of content creation, and multimedia skills such as video shooting and editing, as well as live streaming
  • Robust quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills with strong logical and critical thinking abilities
  • Have a good understanding of Southeast Asian local trending culture
  • Have a track record of delivering results in a dynamic environment
  • Result-oriented, proactive, and has a strong sense of ownership
  • Can work independently and also lead a team, prior experience with people management is a plus
