Job Description:
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of machine inspectors
- Ensure the KPI directed to the team is being established and executed accordingly
- Prepares schedule and deployment of manpower where needed which includes planning and monitoring for overtime work of all team members
- Prepares weekly and monthly report for in-house claim findings
- Overseas the work performance of the team members and conduct periodic training and briefing to maintain team performance
- Responsible for reviewing of all machine document check sheets & ensure all check sheets and check points are filled-in and with acceptance requirements
- Check and prepares all documents required before packing of the machine
Job Requirements:
- A degree or minimum diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in precision engineering in manufacturing industry
- Good interpersonal skills, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with machine inspection tools and equipment (e.g. micrometres, callipers, CMM & quality assurance techniques
- Knowledge of 5S discipline, TQC, quality management systems (QMS) and other quality improvement tools
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Quality Standards: Familiarity with standards like ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or other industry-specific certifications.
- Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate a team to meet quality goals.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for identifying defects or areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex situations and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of the machinery and equipment being manufactured, and the ability to use measuring and testing tools.
