- To assume the roles and responsibilities as spell out in the WSHO Regulation.
- To ensure that the provisions of the WSHA and its Subsidiary Legislation made thereunder are complied with.
- To organise and conduct discussion and documentation on risk assessment for all the critical activities prior commencement of work.
- To ensure that the safe work procedures that are outlined in the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) manual and Safety Management System are established, implemented and maintained.
- To organise safety activities and promote safety conduct.
- To inspect and rectify any unsafe place of work and to correct any unsafe practice.
- To conduct all Safety Committee Meetings regularly.
- To prepare and update all site safety records, monthly or as and when required by the Management / Authorities.
- To ensure good housekeeping and adequate security measures of the site at all times.
- To ensure that all machineries and plants are maintained in good working condition and operated by competent operators.
- To make sure that suitable personal protective equipments are available for all workers and personnels on site and are used diligently.
- To maintain up-to-date record of all equipments, machineries and workers register.
- To inform Head Office and relevant authorities immediately on any fatal and major accidents.
- To assist WSHE Manager in the Corporate WSH matters.
- Any other duties as instructed by the Management.

- To prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Programme to relevant authorities prior to work commencement.
- To organise campaigns, training courses and other activities to develop and sustain interest of workers in maintaining good environmental health standards.
- To carry out daily site inspection to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance of environmental health are in proper working conditions.
- To identify and control disease-bearing vectors and rodents on site.
- To ensure and manage proper disposal of solid waste.
- To control noise, air and water pollution.
- To ensure general housekeeping is carried out.
- To ensure proper drainage control.
- To control food hygiene in Site Canteen.
- To prepare and submit monthly Site Environmental Control Report to relevant authorities.
- To assist WSHE Manager in the Corporate Environmental control matters.
- Any other duties as instructed by the Management.
