Trade Finance (Commodities Trading)
We are looking for a meticulous individual with strong numerical skills to join a reputable commodity trading firm as a Trade Finance Executive/Manager. The ideal candidate should be well conversant in trade finance instruments and UCP600.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review trade contracts and ensure full compliance with trade finance documentation
- Oversee the preparation and negotiation of Letters of Credit (LC)
- Manage daily trade transactions, including both receivables and payables
- Collaborate with the Operations and Treasury teams to ensure accurate trade information and maintain up-to-date records for month-end closing
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with banks and counterparties
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Trade Finance market and instruments
- Knowledge of UCP600
